Privacy

Who we are

Apocrypha Sound LLC runs apocryphasound.com. This page explains what information the site handles, who handles it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to info@apocryphasound.com.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies. It uses no advertising trackers, no tracking pixels, and no embedded players from other companies.

Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Its servers and content delivery network handle every request, and like any web server they keep standard logs of each request, including your IP address, your browser, and the page you asked for. These logs are used to run and secure the site.

Analytics

To count visits, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies. It records the page you visit, the page that sent you, your browser and device type, and your country, and we see these only as totals. We do not use it to identify you.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the site does not load analytics at all.

The newsletter

If you join the list, your email address goes to Kit, the service that sends our newsletter. Kit asks you to confirm your address before anything else is sent, and every email has a link to unsubscribe. We use your address only to send news about Apocrypha Sound, and we never sell it or share it with anyone else.

As the law requires, each email includes a postal address for the company. Kit's own privacy policy covers how it stores your address.

Listening

When you press play, your browser streams the audio directly from our podcast host, which receives your IP address and browser details, as every podcast app's request does, so it can count listens. Nothing downloads until you press play, and nothing plays on its own.

Writing to us

If you email one of our addresses, we keep your message and address so we can reply. Our email is hosted by Hostinger.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us an email address, write to info@apocryphasound.com and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link in any email. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to info@apocryphasound.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
